Allen Kaisler-Meza, M.D.
Dr. Allen Kaisler-Meza earned his Medical Doctorate from Cornell University Medical College followed by a four-year residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stanford University. He worked as Assistant Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation at Laurel Grove Hospital, followed by Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at San Jose Hospital. Dr. Kaisler-Meza began his office practice in 1996, focusing on neurological rehabilitation and musculosketal medicine with an injured-worker patient focus. He then studied and completed an intensive six month course on acupuncture at UCLA, practicing this ever since. Dr. Kaisler-Meza also performs electrodiagnostic examinations and intra-articular injections. His patient population includes orthopedic and neurologic pain patients, treating conditions with the full array of reasonable, non-surgical options. He's SpineOne's Co-Medical Director, founding partner of RehabOne Medical Group and SpineOne. Both Dr. Kaisler-Meza and the SpineOne staff are fluent in Spanish.
Michael C. Post, M.D.
Dr. Michael Post is a board-certified physiatrist and pain medicine specialist practicing in Los Gatos, California. He's currently Vice President of the California Society for Industrial Medicine and Surgery, and past President of the California Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Post graduated medical school from SUNY Health Science Center, completing his internship at Cornell North Shore University Hospital, and his residency training at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Post helped develop and manage several pain management programs, his current private practice concentrating on the evaluation and treatment of injured workers and patients with musculoskeletal injuries. His interest in non-operative spine care led him to co-found SpineOne and RehabOne Medical Group. He serves as Co-Medical Director at SpineOne.
Ronald Fujimoto, D.O.
Dr. Fujimoto received his undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego and his D.O. at the Western University of Health Sciences. He worked at the U.S. Army Hospital at Fort Meade Maryland conducting general practice and emergency room support before completing residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Walter Reed U.S. Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He subsequently served as Staff Physiatrist at Ford Ord California and was the only physiatrist at the San Jose Good Samaritan Medical group for many years before returning to private practice. Dr. Fujimoto is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, also serving as a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). Dr. Fujimoto is especially interest in non-operative treatment of spine injuries, including acupuncture as part of his treatment interventions. Dr. Fujimoto is Co-Medical Director at SpineOne, a founding partner of RehabOne Medical Group and SpineOne.
Darrell S. Bruga, D.C.
Dr. Bruga received his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West. He then completed his internship at the Texas Back Institute, the largest free standing multidisciplinary spine center in the United States.
Dr. Bruga has always had a strong interest in spine rehabilitation using outcome-driven, active exercise methods. He has obtained numerous certifications, completing advanced courses in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. While few physical therapists and chiropractors have obtained this level of training, Dr. Bruga earned his credentials in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzie Institute International. He is also certified to perform functional capacity evaluations. His practice focus continues to be in the area of rehabilitation with a biopsychosocial approach.
Dr. Bruga is a co-founder of the SpineOne Program. He served as the Program Director of SpineOne from 2005-2009. He now serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for SpineOne and Vice President of RehabOne Medical Group.
Kimeron Hardin, Ph.D.
Dr. Hardin has been practicing in the fields of clinical and health psychology for over 18 years and has authored and co-authored numerous books, articles, book chapters and reviews in the field. He currently lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area and he is best known for his work in wellness, stress reduction and chronic pain. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he majored in psychology and then completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC in 1986. From there he attend the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi where he completed his Ph.D. in 1990. He did his pre-doctoral internship training in Medical Psychology at Duke University Medical Center. His pain practice began with his internship at Duke and later on the faculty of several of the country’s best medical centers including Wake Forest University School of Medicine. the University of California at San Francisco/Mt. Zion Pain Management Center and Stanford University Medical Center. He has developed and directed three functional restoration programs for people living with chronic pain and is currently the new Director of Behavioral Medicine at theSpineOne Program in Los Gatos, CA.
Patricia Posada, B.A.
Ms. Patricia Posada has been a Bilingual Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for over 20 years assisting injured workers in their efforts to return to appropriate employment via the implementation of individualized plans including direct placement, short –term retraining and self employment efforts both here and in their country of origin. Throughout her career she has specialized in assisting the monolingual and the limited English speaking individual with great success. In addition, she has been a consultant for Hewlett Packard in their pilot return to work program. With a passion to help others, Ms. Posada has actively participated as a volunteer for several local non-profit organizations having received awards for outstanding participation and commitment.
Ms. Posada grew up in Caracas, Venezuela where she pursued law studies at Universidad Santa Maria. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from San Jose State University and is currently in her last semester at San Francisco State where she is pursuing a certificate in court interpretation. She has been the CEO of Posada Vocational Services since its foundation in 1992.
Cecelia Tiemann, D.C.
Dr. Tiemann is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic-West. Having been certified as an Industrial Disability Examiner and Qualified Medical Examiner, she has over 20 years of experience in the Workers’ Compensation arena. Her focus and studies in the last ten years has been in spine rehabilitation through physical activity and cognitive behavioral approach. She has also undergone training with the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through the McKenzie Institute International and certification in the Documentation Based Care (DBC) System. Dr. Tiemann has extensive experience working in the Latino community. She is bilingual and bicultural has contributed to Latino community by conducting classes and lectures on spine rehabilitation and exercise, injury prevention, and biomechanics. As a team member at SpineOne, Dr. Tiemann serves as an evaluator and Lead Spine Exercise Specialist.
Cristiana Baptista, Ph.D.
Dr. Baptista was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she was active in the clinical and academic arenas of psychology until 2006 when she relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area. After completing her Ph.D. at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Dr. Baptista did a two-year internship at the State University of Rio de Janeiro Medical Center where she worked extensively with chronic pain patients and obtained certification as a specialist in Medical Psychology. She has expertise in cultural issues in clinical practice and has been providing psychological treatment to adults of diverse underserved populations both in Brazil and in the United States. Fluent in Spanish, English and French as well as her native Portuguese, Dr. Baptista recently completed postdoctoral training at the Wright Institute Integrated Health Psychology and Alcohol and Drug Addiction Training Programs.
